FAQ
118 player records appear in this snapshot. The table and player cards use the same records.
The team profile was reviewed on 2026-09-01. This is a dated listing; it does not track live injuries, transfers or game-day availability.

It is the class label supplied in the roster. It does not verify how many seasons of eligibility remain.
Two players: senior receiver Kendrick Bell from Kansas City and senior cornerback Jyaire Hill from Kankakee, Illinois. Sharing a number is permitted so long as the two are never on the field at the same time, which is why it is almost always split between offence and defence.
The coaching change brought a Utah pipeline with it. Cornerback Smith Snowden, defensive end John Henry Daley and linebackers Aisea Moa and Max Alford all list Utah hometowns, alongside receiver Salesi Moa. Defensive tackle Jonah Lea'ea and receiver Jaime Ffrench Jr. also joined the roster.
Freshman offensive lineman Malakai Lee from Kaneohe, Hawaii, at 6-7 and 359 pounds. Defensive tackle Travis Moten is next at 330, just ahead of Enow Etta at 328. The tallest is offensive lineman Peter Donini at 6-9, and cornerback Jamarion Vincent is the lightest listed at 169 pounds.
Two. Punter Cam Brown is from Coolangatta, Australia, and offensive lineman Manuel Beigel is from Frankfurt, Germany. Michigan also draws three players from Hawaii and one from Alaska, which is unusual for a Big Ten roster.
Running back Micah Ka'apana and offensive lineman Ace Hamilton were both ruled out for the year before the opener. They were the only long-term absences the staff identified in preseason.
Freshman quarterback Tommy Carr. His father Jason played quarterback for the Wolverines in the 1990s, and his grandfather Lloyd Carr coached Michigan from 1995 to 2007, winning the 1997 national championship.
